First Baptist Church of Palmer hopes to offer a series of evangelistic children’s day camps on the church campus Monday – Thursday, generally 9AM -3PM, June 8-27, 2024. This request is for a Kid’s Camp Mission team June 22-28.

Camps are for about 50 kids approx. 6-12 yrs old. We are seeking teams that will plan and conduct a camp with a theme that fits the giftedness of the mission team. We have had music & arts camps, sports camps, archery camps in the past conducted by teams with persons with particular skills. So, if your team has particular skills / gifts, we would want to have a camp based on your teams’ strengths.

FBC Palmer desires to help provide an experience for our partner teams that is a worry-free as possible. We are asking each team member to contribute $600 per person. With that, FBC Palmer will provide team lodging, team meals, team transportation. We will pick up the team from Anchorage airport and take the team back to the airport for the return home. The only other expenses to your team while in with us would be meals on the day of sightseeing, personal expenses, any shopping.

The week’s general schedule would be:

Arrival at Anchorage Saturday afternoon.
Sunday worship and preparations for the camp.
Monday – Thursday: Conduct the camp
Thursday evening: Family night event
Friday: Sightseeing and return to Anchorage airport.
